My Essay

In my Literature class this week, I had to write an essay on ancient literature (anything before the 1000s.) Now all of the ancient literature we read during the past week was translated from Latin, so its not very clear, like it would say "Walked down he woods the to" because thats how it translates from Latin. Now it was assigned to me last week and I kept putting it off. Which is my fault. Anyway it was due Tuesday and I had put it off all the way to Monday night. So I logged off of ng at around 10 and I worked on the essay until 3. My gf stayed up with me and did some research online to help with the essay. I handed it in Tuesday morning and I think it was good. Anyway I handed it in on Tuesday and got it back the next day. I GOT A D! as in DAMMIT! I was really fucking pissed. I got that because "it was tedious and there were to many words used on a line." So I gotta really step it up in his class. Here were some of the guidelines for the essay.
~ The essay MUST have 20 words on a line, but no more than 35.
~ The essay MUST be written in RED INK! You will automatically fail if it is written in any other color.
~ The essay MUST be 3 pages or more. You will automatically fail if it is less than 3 pages.
~ The essay MUST stay on topic.
~ The essay is worth 200 points.

That Seminar on Thursday

As I posted in my last blog entry, I couldnt update the blog until today because I had a four hour "music intonation" seminar. Its just a seminar where you go and listen to long, boring classical music pieces by dead people. Every first Thursday of the month until July I have to go to this seminar in order to pass.

bbbrrr its cold

holy shit has it been cold the last few days, yesterday and today I has to dust off my sweatshirt. This fucking weather is pissing me off, because one day it'll be 70 degrees and the other day 40 degrees. Really fucking up my allergies. Eh, winter will be here soon and then there'll be nothing to be allergic to, other than snow, which thank god im not allergic to.

This Week on Funny Shit on Youtube, its not really funny, but it is sarcastic. I think we all saw the "5 friends" video, which it shows those celebs urging you to not vote, when in fact its doing the opposite and urging you to vote by showing you what could happen if you dont vote. Crazy, right?

Yankee Stadium Trip

Last Friday, I got back to my apartment at around 2:30 in the afternoon and my gf surprised me with tickets for the Yankee game that night, (Orioles @ Yankees 7:05 PM) Right away I got dressed into my Yankee jersey and pullover and started driving. We got there at around 6 PM, and got to our seats (I sat in Gate 4, Section M8, Box/Row D, Seat 18, and my gf had the same except she sat in seat 19.)It was a good game, the Yankees won 3-2. The traffic was horrible tho, the game ended at 10 and we didnt get out of the parking lot until 11:30, we didnt get home until 2 AM, but it was all worth it, cause that was an AWESOME game!!

College Started(YUCK!)

My new year at college started Monday (Madness Day.) I'm now a Senior (I should be graduating this year!) Anyway, I'm majoring in Literature and minoring in American History. In order to graduate this year, I have to take Creative Writing, Journalism, History, and European Literature (Shakespeare and shit like that.) And in order to pass, I need to get atleast a C+ average in all the classes, which should be easy. The only thing that sucks is because now I'm working 6 day weeks, Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at work and Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at college, YUCK!!!

CAN'T GET IT OUT!!!

Tuesday I was riding the bus to work as I always do, It was like 6:30 in the morning and I was listening to heavy death metal on my ipod to wake me up. And all of a sudden some douche sets off a stink bomb right next to me. The bus pulls over and I'm sitting there, wheezing because it smelled so bad. Anyway I was supposed to be at work at 7:00 AM, I usually get there at 6:45 AM. But someone thought it was an actual bomb and they took us all to the police station to see who set it off. So by the time I finally get to work, its already 3:30 PM! Anyway I told my boss what happened and he said it was ok, but heres the problem. My work uniform now smells like the stink bomb. I tried everything to get the stench out but I cant find anything to get it out. My gf tried all her stink removal remedies and they didnt work. So I had to pay $59.95 for a full new work uniform. Dammit!

Now, as always, heres an updated version of my goals.

The seventh anniversary of 9/11 was today. Really made me depressed to think back to the day seven years ago the towers fell. I remember I was in Woodshop and all of a sudden the teacher came running out and screamed "EVERYONE TURN THE FUCKING MACHINES OFF AND BE QUIET!!!", It was the first time I ever heard a teacher say a word like fuck. Anyway he turned on the tv to CNN and we saw the whole thing. I remember they made us stay in school, but we just stayed in Woodshop all day watching the news. It was fucked up, kids in the class were crying and calling there parents. The only thing going through my mind that day was that it was the end of the world. Since I was in the inner city school in Boston, that really made the teachers nervous cause we didnt know where else they were going to strike. But it was still to risky to drive us home I guess. Anyway as soon as I got home I just remember sitting on my couch wondering if that really happened. The next day in school everything was so different, usually kids in school were running around, hanging out with there friends, but the day after, it seemed like everyone was in shock . I remember everyone walked quietly through the school without saying a word to anybody. Really depressing. Anyway On with the news post.

Day Off
Today (cause my bosses dad died in the WTC 7 years ago) I had a day off! It was nice to have a day to relax, mainly cause I think im getting Broncitis and could really use some rest. I just layed around all day with my gf. I watched The Bank Job earlier. Then we went out to lunch (to McDonalds, I know, really fancy). Then we just layed around the house for the rest of the day. Nice. Boring. Day.

Burn After Reading
Tomorrow I'm going to see Burn After Reading with my gf and a couple of her friends. Looks really good and funny. I'll write a review for it in my next news post.

I GOTS A PROMOTION!

Thats right, Wednesday, September 3rd, I got a promotion! I work for a laptop repair company for those who dont know and before I got the promotion I was the guy who would work the front desk, take peoples broken laptops and give them to the repair specialists who would fix them. Know I'm one of them! I got a nice desk in an office in the back of the shop and already I fixed three laptops today.

Fucking Allergies!

Holy Shit are my allergies working up bad, im allergic to pollen, and cut grass. I have to pass a park everyday on my way to the busstop to get me to work, and they always cut the grass there which triggers my allergies and since they cut the flowers, the pollen is always flying everywhere. So right now Im extremely congested, have a horrible sore throat, and very itchy eyes. My allergy doctor just keeps telling me to buy the nasal spray, eye drops, and halls from the drug store. I tried all that over the counter crap and it doent work a bit. And I've asked several times for some Claratin to make me feel better, but he says "Im not the person for it". Ugh I've never felt so horrible. I cant wait for winter, because unless your allergic to frozen water, its the best season to not get allergies.

Programming

Now that I bought flash, I now have to learn actionscripting and programming, BBBOOO! That shit is hard, I like Pivot because theres no scripting needed, its frame by frame. I guess doing scripting makes the motion a lot smoother, but its hard. Now on my flash "Pure Pleasure", I've gotten the character design done, script done, backgrounds done, only thing I need to do is learn to script, and then start working on the animations. Once again I will not be stating an estimated due date because it'll jinx me and I'll never finish it.

Holy Shit im tired. with those wild hours from Saturday to Tuesday to my tiring trip to Vegas, I've become extremely tired. My work gave me Wednesday and Thursday off and then Friday I only have to work until noon thank god. I've been an insomniac since i was 13 meaning i have a very hard time falling asleep. My record was a whole 5 days without even a wink of sleep, Me being this tired is very rare for me. I haven't slept a whole 8 hours in 6 years and last night I slept a whole ten hours. Which is a record for me! And im still tired, maybe this trip and hectic work hours was good for my insomnia. OK enough about me, on with the news post.

Updates-
-Im out $700 because I bought Flash! I was working on my other project Sticks Search for Hentai on liveswif and it sucked. So i dropped that project and im going to work on a new project called "Pure Pleasure" I know what ur thinking, pr0n. Not exactly, its almost like Clerks but set in a sex shop called "Pure Pleasure" hence the title "Pure Pleasure" im not setting a release date or even an estimated release date because I did that with my other project and all this shit happened that put it off so im not jinxing myself.

Level Ups- Im estimating that if I get my xp everyday ill reach level 12 on September 9th. Im also estimating that if i get my xp everday ill reach level 13 on October 3rd. Atleast that gives me some stuff to look forward to.

W00t! Clock Day! Thanks to Clock Day I've upgraded from Safety Patrol to Police Officer in b/p ranks. And (I dont think this was cause of Clock Day) I had a Silver whistle for about an hour or two before being downgraded to bronze :(. Eh, thats ok I hope to have a deity whistle by the time i reach level 28 (in about 693 days from today) and I also hope to be Praporshchik in b/p ranks by then as well.

My Vacation- *Yawn* Damn that was an exhausting four day vacation. Like I said I went to Vegas to go casino hopping. I went with $500 to gamble on and left with $2,500. I won $600 at the MGM Grand ($1100 altogether) lost $300 at the Riviera ($800 altogether) won $1,500 at the Rio ($2300 altogether) and won $200 at the Mirage ($2500 altogether.) And damn it was exhausting, we stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel. We played at the MGM 3 AM Tuesday until 8 AM Tuesday, at the Riviera from 4 PM Tuesday until 2 AM Wednesday, at the Rio from 8AM Wednesday until 4 PM Wednesday, and at the Mirage from 11 PM Wednesday until 6 AM Thursday. Our flight left at 10 PM last night (we slept from 7 AM until 4 PM and then got packed and checked out and got to the airport at 7 PM and waited until 10) Ugh it was tiring.

God Damn Work!!!- We got back to my apartment at around 4 AM Friday morning and I slept until noon. I checked my voice mail and I got a call from work that I have to work 6AM-10PM on Saturday, 8AM-6PM on Sunday, 6AM-6PM on Monday, and 8AM-10PM on Tuesday because of, 1.) I have to make up the hours I took off to go on vacation, and 2.) The guy who works with me had a "family emergency" and has to take off until Wednesday, he said his Grandmother died but hes used that excuse FOUR TIMES!!! So I have to cover for him while I do my own work. God Dammit!
