My X-Mas Goodies

This year for X-Mas, i got
- Gears of War 2 for the X-Box 360 (from my gf)
- Spore for the PC (from my gf's parents)
- a new printer (from my parents)
- a $30 gift certificate to SkinIt.com (from my aunt and uncle)
- a new viola boa (from my gf)
- a set of spare viola strings (from my parents)
- a subscription to Smart Computing Magazine (from my cousin)

and that was pretty much it

My X-Mas Givings

This year for X-Mas, i gave,
-a set of diamond earrings and a bunch of skirts and blouses (for my gf)
-a framed picture that i made in kindergarden and a $50 gift card to Chilies (for my parents)
-a red velvet cheesecake and a $30 gift certificate to Wal Mart (for my gf's parents)
-a $50 gift card to Chilies and a $30 gift card to Wal Mart (my aunt and uncle)
- a Nintendo DS Lite (for my cousin)

and that was pretty much it.

2009, already?

as most of us probably know, 2009 will be here in less than a week, (unless your Jewish or Chinese)damn this year went by pretty fast. It seems like it was yesterday that I had first set up my newgrounds account. Hell it seems like yesterday i graduated high school. Shit i feel old right now. Looking into 2009 i realized that by this time next year, ill be out of college with a degree in Computing, ill be 22, damn time goes by fast.

I descided to update my blog early this week because tomorrow night (7 at night to be exact) i have to take another part of my midterms, so I'll only be on ng for a little bit, if at all. It wont matter anyway because I've been banned from the BBS for three days (until Saturday) for posting a two word asanine post. My Christmas Plans

So this week, me and my gf finally made up our minds on weather us and my parents will go to her parents house for Christmas, or weather us and her parents would be going to my parents house. Were all going to my parents house in Yonkers, NY for Christmas. Im kinda happy cause my parents house has a working computer which im allowed to use. But im kinda upset cause my parents house doesnt have a lot of room, so it'll be kinda crowded and cluttered, but meh, its the holidays.

Sorry i couldnt update my blog yesterday (or even go on ng for that matter), I've been cramming for the midterm test this Monday and ive been burried up to my ears in broken laptops for about a week now and had to spend most of my day yesterday fixing them.

My Thanksgiving

So as you probably can tell, I survived Thanksgiving with my gf's parents and without internet. I have to admit it was kind of hard to function without being able to use the internet, but by Saturday, I kinda got use to life without internet. So I guess I'll tell you all about it.

Thursday

Thursday I woke up at around 6 in the morning and me and my gf were on our way to Vermont by 8:30 (took my gf and hour and a half to pack and get dressed.) Anyway we got there at around 10:30 in the morning and we were welcomed my a swarm of her family. I believe that here was me, my gf, her mom and dad, her uncle and aunt, her grandmother, and about six of her cousins. (So there was about 13 people there.) The whole day until dinner I helped her mom and aunt cook the Turkey and Duck (as well as various other side dishes.)
By the time we had finished cooking all the stuff, it was about 7 at night and by the time we had finished eating it was about 8:30 at night. Then I helped my gf's mom cook some Apple Pie, Pecan Pie, and Chocolate Cake for dessert. and by the time we finished cooking and eating that, it was about 11 at night. Then after dessert when we were all sitting around the table chatting, my gf's dad got up and made an announcement saying he bought a Manhattan Loft and that Black Friday we (me, my gf, and her parents) were going to drive down to it and check it out. By the time everybody left it was almost 1:30 in the morning. My gf and I got to bed around 2:30 in the morning and were asleep by 3.

Friday

I got up at around 8 in the morning and my gf's mom made her famous pancakes (which were delicious) and after that got dressed. We were already driving there by 9:30. It took longer than I thought to get there (about 5 and a half hours, which I spent mostly sleeping.) Once we got there it was about 3 in the afternoon and by the time we were in their loft it was about 4. I was surprised to find it fully furnished and everything (but not a computer in there ironically.) Then we were given basically a tour of the apartment by my gf's dad and then went out to dinner to McDonalds in Times Square (it was the first time having fast food for my gf's parents, and they hated it.) Then we took a long car ride back to their house in Vermont and as soon as we got there, I passed out on their couch and stayed there for the rest of the night.

Saturday

Nothing special happened Saturday. i woke up at around 7:30 in the morning and had oatmeal for breakfast (my gf's mom wasn't up yet to make pancakes.) The rest of the day i spent lounging around, watching TV while my gf slept with her head on my stomach. Pretty boring, then for dinner we went to some fancy restaurant where I ordered the New York Strip Steak and was thoroughly full after it. Then e went back to the house and i watched some more TV and i got to bed at around 10.

Sunday

I basically did the same things as Saturday. I woke up at around 7 in the morning and had some leftover duck from Thanksgiving and some Mashed Potatoes for breakfast. Lounged around all day and then we had leftover Turkey and side dishes for dinner. I got to bed at around 10 that night too.

Monday

Monday i got up at around 8:30 in the morning and had some of my gf's moms pancakes for breakfast. Then I relaxed for a bit and me and my gf got packed and left. We were on our way home at around noon and got home at around 2, and i took a nap until 6 then made sure I got on ng to update all my stuff. All-in-all not as bad of a vacation that I thought it would be.

Sorry i couldnt update my blog Thursday, I had to work overtime to make up the days of work i was supposed to work next week (Friday and Next Monday.) Anyways, heres my news,

My Christmas Tree is up!

This morning, i got up at around 6 in the morning to surprise my gf and have the christmas tree up and lit. The tree is about 6 feet 5 inches tall and with the star on top grazes my ceiling. It took me about a half an hour to put together (its an artificial tree) and about an hour to get all thr orniments, garlin, and lights up. I was finished by 8 in the morning and got about 15 minutes of sleep before she ran ito our bedroom screaming in happiness about the tree. Then she called her parents and all of her girlfriends to tell her about the surprise.

Confirmed Thanksgiving Plans

Now, its official, we will be going to my gf's parents house for Thanksgiving this year. We will be leaving for their house Thursday morning and leaving their house Monday afternoon/evening. And like i said in my last news post i'm not allowed to take my laptop with me. And my gf took the internet card out of my cell so i couldnt go on the internet on that. So i will not be on ng between Thursday and Monday, so there will be no news post next week. Im not looking forward to this trip at all.

sorry i had to wait till today to update my blog, i had to work late because the other "Computer Repair Tech" guy put in the excuse "My grandma died" even though his grandma already died three times this year and six times last year. As all of U.S. citizens probably know, in two weeks it will be Thanksgiving. This thanksgiving we're going to my gf's parents house in Vermont. If any of you remember how the last time I went to my gf's parents house went i think it should be pretty crappy. And the worst part is that we'll be staying there from Thursday till Monday. And i promised my gf I wouldn't bring my laptop so her, her parents, and I could have some more "us time" as her mom calls it. Ugh, im not looking forward to it.

Mischief Night

Mischief Night is the night before Halloween where teens go around pulling pranks on people and vandalizing property. And every year, my work building gets egged and teepeed, and it was no different this year. I got to work at around 7 Friday morning, to see my work was, yet again, teepeed and egged. Really pissed me off because I was the one who had to clean it all up. It took me about four hours to scrape all the egg off of the building and pull the wet toilet paper off the building. I got home at around two in the afternoon, i was pissed because i didnt even get to do my job.

Halloween

This Halloween, I saw three excellent horror movies, the first one i watched was Tetsuo: The Iron Man, which was a 67 minute long movie about a metal fetishist, who, after getting hit by a car and dumped into a ravine by the driver, haunts the drive of the car as a big piece of scrap metal. The storyline might sound stupid, but it was really cool to watch and had some awesome gaphics. I recommend this movie to any Japanese horror movie fan.
The next film I saw was Eraser Head, it was about a couple who give birth to a baby whom is horribly deformed and its head is made out of the same material that rubber erasers are. The movie also featured a woman with squirrel cheeks. Really great movie.
The final film I saw was Cannibal Holocaust, which i've watched every Haloween since 1998. It has two storylines in the film, one where its about a team of people filming a documentary about a native tribe, and in order for it to be more excting, they burn native huts and rape native women, though the team is later killed, the second storyline is a search party searching for the team who was killed by the natives, they make peace with the tribe that the team had filmed and are awarded the tapes of the teams documentary. It might sounda bit complicated, but its a movie thats hard to explain.

Halloween Party

Last Night at around 10, I went to my friend Johns Hallowen Party at his loft in downtown Boston, there were tons of people there (around 300), there was loud techno music, tons of beer, and i was hammered by the end of the night, I cant even remember anything past 2 in the morning. And i have a wicked hangover right now, but it was worth it, i think that was the best party of this year.

Halloween Plans

So, this week I finally figured out what i'll be doing for Halloween. Since kids on my block start trick-or-treating very early (around 4), and end at around 10, so from 4 in the afternoon to 10 at night i'll be handing out candy to kids, while watching some scary movies which thanks to CountDuke1 I finally know what i'll be watching for Halloween, i'll be watching

not such a long list, but i'l probably only have 5 hours to watch these all (ill take an hour to eat dinner.)
Then at 10, me and my gf will be going to my friend John's party at his loft in downtown Boston (i think there'll be about 100-200 people there) until 4 in the morning, then I guess i'll head home for bed, lol.

FUCKING MINDFUCKS/SCREAMERS!!!

This past week, i was tricked twice (by my gf) into a mindfuck and a screamer, both increadibly stupid. One was here *note the preceding link links directly to the screamer i was tricked into, do not click unless you want to se a screamer* then, she tricked me into some mindfucks (to many links to list) them i made the dumb decision to browse this newgrounds thread at midnight. I'll admit, on some of them, i did fell like shitting bricks, but some were just plain stupid. Mindfucks and Screamers and shit like that tend to scare me.

Friday Off

Thats right, I get tomorrow off from work. I get it off because the other main computer repair man has accumulated to much vacation time and has to work tomorrow, and I get paid for it to! Nice, tho i'll probably spend most of the day transferring some of the stuff from my old laptop to my new one. Which reminds me...

My New Laptop

Thats right, I finally got myself a new laptop. My parents gave it to me because my old one was shit. So (since they have no 401k and r retired, hence not affected by the stock market recession) they descided to buy me a new one. Its an Acer Aspire with a 15'' LCD screen. Tho now there not getting me any birthday (April 30th) or Christmas (December 25th) presents. Well take the good with the bad I guess.
