My Best Friend is Gay

So this week, me and my usual buddies were at our local bar, when all of a sudden, my friend Steve said to us "I'm gay" and i was shocked. Not that there is anything wrong with being gay, its just that he never seemed to be a gay guy to me, he was dating a very hot chick, and they were in love, he has a low voice. Me and Steve have been friends since we were 6, in fact, he was the one who introduced me to ng, and porn. We would have sleepovers (as kids) nearly every weekend and were as close as brothers. He never came onto me or anything. It just surprised me. It turns out he now is dating another guy, who i'll be introduced to sometime later this week. Wow. So ill still be hanging out with him, but its just a bit weird to me having such a close friend who's gay.

My Bad Behaved Cousin

So this week my cousin, which if youve read some of my previous news posts you would know that he's a bit of a trouble maker. But this week my cousin got ISS (In School Suspension) for 1) listening to his iPod in class, 2) playing his PSP in class, and 3) Getting caught cheating on a math exam (not all at the same time of course, all over the span of one day.) So like i said in a previous news post i was suppose to put him in the military academy, which i think im going to reconsider, just because this wasn't the biggest screw up he could do. In fact this is pretty minor to what other things he's done, so i dont think ill be sending him to military school, but he is however grounded for a week and not allowed to have his gf over at the apartment or go over to her apartment for a week. Not that bad i dont think.

The Oscars

As we all probably know, The 81st Annual Academy Awards (The Oscars) was on last night. And i must say it was one of the better Academy Awards ive seen in a while. I thought that Hugh Jackman was quite funny and flamboyant. Though im a bit upset about some of the winners, first of all, i think that Marisa Tomei definitely should have won Best Supporting Actress, i found her performance in "The Wrestler" much better than that of Penelope Cruz's performance in "Vicky Christina Barcelona". Second i dont think that "Slumdog Millionaire" deserved Best Picture, i saw it and it was ok at best, i didnt find it oscar worthy at all, a good movie like "Milk" or "Frost/Nixon" should have won, you know, a movie with a decent storyline. Third I dont think that Kate Winslet should have won Best Actress, i actually saw "The Reader" and i found her performance very platitudinous, Meryl Streep should have won Best Actress for her powerhouse performance in "Doubt."
Though i wasnt all upset about the winners i was actually quite happy that Sean Penn won Best Actor for "Milk", i found his performance in that movie quite flamboyant and outgoing, he definatly deserved an Oscar for it.

My Valentines Day

So as many people know, today was Valentines Day, and I decided to treat my gf to a day at the spa. We had my cousin go on a ski trip with his gf and her parents in New Hampshire until Monday to get rid of him so we could spend the weekend together. I woke up at 5 AM and got dressed and woke her up and said "Get dressed, were going to a spa", she was ecstatic. We were on the road by 6:30 AM and we got to the spa in Warwick, NY by 10 AM. First we both got full body massages, which i must say really helped with my whiplash i got from the auto accident last week. Then we had lunch at the spa food court (which was all authentic chinese food) so i had eel and white rice and she had the same. Then we got a seaweed wrap, which is really suppose to be good for your skin. Then we got a mud bath (which is good for your skin as well, i must say my skin has never felt better, lol) Then my gf wanted to get her bikini line waxed (naval, vaginal area, anal area), so i said, sure why not, and she did, then took another mud bath to help ease the pain, lol.
So we left there at about 3 PM and got back to my apartment at around 7, where she's now watching tv and im, well posting this blog. Later tonight, were playing a game called "Tequila shot strip" where everytime we take a tequila shot, we have to take an atricle of clothing off (and the way i see it, ill be naked before she will.) All in all its been a pretty good Valentines Day.

My Rental Car

If you read my last news post you would know that i was in a car accident last Saturday. Well my insurance company gave me a rental car to use until my car is repaired (in roughly a month), so i got a 2008 Nissan Altima in silver and its pretty cool. It rides very smooth, has a working radio (unlike mine), but doesnt have 4 wheel drive, which i guess i wont need, but its good to have just in case.

Happy Valentines Day!

Saturday At My Gf's Parents

So yesterday, i took my gf and my cousin to my gf's parents house in Vermont to spend the day with them. It sucked right from the get-go because the power was out at their place so the whole day we were sitting in the dark. We all sat around and chatted, though most of the chatting consisted of my gf's mom complaining about how me and my gf arent married yet and how we're not getting any younger, while my gf's dad started yelling at my cousin for touching all their knick-knacks. After an hour or two of that, my gf's parents treated us to lunch at a local pizzaria. The lunch was a bit cold because they had to cook the pizza over a hot pan. Then we went back to their house where the electricity went back on. We watched Trapped in Paradise with her parents before leaving.
However on the way home, while me and my gf were stopped at a traffic light (right outside of Boston.) We were rear ended by a drunk guy going 60 miles per hour. Then we hit the people in front of us, which they only got a scratch on their bumper but stayed until the police got their anyway. My car (a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee) got really fucked up in the back, the rear door wont open, my break lights and turning lights are broken, my muffler rubs against the tire, making the muffler and tire burn when its driven, and the gas tank is now sitting right next to the exhaust (which could cause the car to explode.) We were hit by a nice 2009 Nissan Maxima, which was totaled badly (the whole front end was on the ground.) Though me and my gf weren't hurt on-scene, later last night my neck started hurting badly and my gf's back started hurting, so we went to the hospital to get checked out, and it turns out she has a pulled back muscle which requires a few days of rest, and i have a minor whiplash (that doesn't require a neck brace) but im encouraged to rest a few days as well, which i probably wont do. Anyway we got there at 9 at night and didnt get home until 4 in the morning, damn hospital waits.
So now my car is undrivable, meaning that i have to get it repaired. Though its a good thing i only ever drive it to get some where out of town, i take the bus or walk everywhere else (to and from work and college.) All i can say is thank god me and my gf had our seatbelts on.

My Cousins Progress So Far

Like I said in my last couple of news posts, my troublemaking cousin moved in with me and my gf. He got settled in last weekend and started school on Tuesday the 20th. Now he's only been in his new school for 4 days and he has 1) a girlfriend who he brings home and makes out with, 2) a group of troublemaking friends who want him to throw a party at my apartment (which im still considering), and 3) Ds in all his classes. He told me that he would stay out of trouble (because if he gets into trouble he'll get his ass sent to the Foxboro Military academy until my aunt and uncle get back from their cruise.) And im hoping i dont have to do that, but if i have to, i will.

My Gf's B-Day

So my gf's B-Day was January 12th, (i forgot to put it in my blog because my cousin moved in) she turned 22 (yeah, she's older than me.) Though she only asked for one thing, all she wanted was a sweatshirt from Abercrombie and Fitch. Which even though it was $300 (and i got flamed in a thread about it) i got it for her and she was ecstatic. When my aunt and uncle came with my cousin, they gave her a pink mini laptop that runs on Linux (but since she didnt understand Linux, i has to install Windows Vista Home Basic onto it.) Then her parents got her a $100 Mastercard Gift Card (which she spent on a pair of jeans from Hollister.)

So, My Cousin Moved In

So, my cousin arrived yesterday, with a moving truck full of shit, including his bed, dresser, tv, computer, all his clothes, and a bunch of other shit. And we all (me, my cousin, my gf, my aunt, my uncle, my friend Steve, my boss John, my friends from college Nick, and our local bartender James) had to carry it up to the 22nd story of my apartment complex (where me and my gf live.)
So we have all of his crap in my videogame room (now his bedroom) set up the way he wanted it. But im pissed because on thr floor of the game room was my Goldeneye 007 N64 cartridge, which we somehow put his bed ontop of without knowing. It didnt break when we put the bed on it though, it broke when he went to sit on the bed later. But i went to our local deli after college today and found it in the cheap game bin for $2.99.
So im hoping that my cousin behaves himself, like i said in my news post from two weeks ago, hes a bit of a trouble maker (he was actually expelled from his school in Maine for the whole blowjob in the bathroom thing.) And if he manages to get himself into some shit, im sending him right to the Foxboro Military Academy. No ifs, ands or buts about it.

Finished the PC

So, i finished the PC i said i was working on in my last news post. I got all the stuff it needed last weekend and me, my friend Steve, and my boss John finished it yesterday. We tried it out and it works and everything. Its running on Windows XP Media Center (we figured that my friend Giovanni [who we were building the PC for] wouldnt know how to work Windows Vista.) We're currently keeping it at my friend Steve's apartment until Giovanni's B-Day (February 3rd.)

Level 16 w00t! w00t!

Building a PC

So, this week, me, my boss, and my friend Steve decided to make a PC. Idk why, just for shits n' giggles i guess. This weekend we're going to buy all the parts and build it little by little over a week until its completely built (which should take about a week.) Once we finish building it, we're going to give it to my friend Giovanni for his birthday in February because his PC is 15 years old and still runs on Windows 95 (its a piece of shit basically.)

January 15th

So, as i said in my last news post. My 14 year old cousin is coming to live with my gf and me from January 15th to August 20th. So he'll arrive next Thursday. This weekend, me and my gf are converting my videogame room into his new bedroom and moving my videogames into the living room to play on that tv. And also like i said in my last news post, he's a big trouble maker, so im not really looking forward to having to deal with his shit. But i guess its worth it if ill be helping out my aunt.

not much news for this week

My Cousins Coming >:(

So this week, i found out that my aunt and uncle are going on an 8 month long world round cruise from January 20th to August 25th, but i also found out that since they could only afford two tickets and the cruise had no school, that my 14-year-old cousin would have to live with me and my gf until they come back. If he doesnt come live with me my aunt and uncle were going to put him in a foster home until they got back. So they didnt have to do that, i told them he could live with me until they come back. So hes coming here the 15th and staying till August 30th.
Though im not very psyched about it, my aunt and uncle (and from what i can tell) he's a bad kid. He's gotten suspended from school 3 times, the first time he wrote "Fuck You" and drew a bunch of penises on a math book and got suspended for 3 days (and had to pay $70 to replace the book).
Then the second time, he got suspended for getting into a fight with some jock who called him emo, but the reason he was suspended was because he hit the jock over the head with his skateboard and started beating the shit out of him, the jock went to the hospital with a broken nose, bruised eye, dislocated jaw, and some chipped teeth, and my cousin got suspended for 15 days and got arrested (for battery), but the judge gave him mercy and he only had to do 500 hours of community service, (which im not even sure he did.)
And the third time was just about a month ago when he was caught actually getting a blowjob from his girlfriend in a bathroom stall (dont ask me how the school found out) and got suspended for 5 days and had to pay a fine of $100 for indecent exposure and got suspended because it was a sexual act on school property. And this kid has to live with me.
Now if he pulls any of this shit with me, im putting him in the local foster house (or sending him to wildface098's house) so he can learn his lesson.
So my aunt already signed him over to whatever school is by my apartment and he's arriving at my apartment the 15th, yippee (sarcasm).
