Pure Pleasure

If you guys remember a news post that I made back in Aug. of 08, I was talking about my flash that I was creating called "Pure Pleasure" and this week I got a few pm's asking if t was ever going to be released, and the answer to that is maybe. I got all the drawing done for it (thanks to my boss letting me borrow his wacom tablet) I had all the scripting done for it, even the music, though i've ran into a big problem with the voice overs, I did them, but I can never get them to fit into what the characters are saying. Its a problem that even my flash-savvy friend Greg couldn't fix. So until I can get that fixed and add some more touches to it, I wont be releasing it. SO for anyone who was anticipating it, you'll have to wait some more.

Tennis Match Tomorrow

So tomorrow will be the quarterfinals of the Championship Series, whichever team wins the series gets $1,000, and right now, me and my gf are the favorites for winning with the best record in the league (6-1). Though whom we will be facing will be kept anonymous until the game tomorrow, I have to keep my fingers crossed on winning. I'll be sure to update this blog with the scores tomorrow.

UPDATE- So today, me and my gf won our quarterfinal match against the same father and son team we faced a few weeks ago. Here were our scores (we are Team F and they were Team QQ)

Damn Weather

So this past week, I've been very, very tired and sick because of this damn weather. here in Boston, one day its cold enough to put the heat on, and the next its hot enough to put the air conditioner on, which really plays with my allergies and makes me sick. I have a bad cough and chest congestion along with extreme tiredness (which is pretty ironic for me because I'm usually not tired at all and can't sleep.) So I'm now taking a cough suppressant/chest decongestant and am hoping that the weather evens out soon.

Tennis Match Tomorrow

So tomorrow, me and my gf will be facing this couple on the 14th floor to redeem ourselves for last week's loss. We've spied on a few f their practices and from what we can tell they'll be pretty easy to beat, I guess we'll just have to see tomorrow. And I'll be sure to update this blog with our scores tomorrow.

My Birthday Goodies

So, last Thursday (April 30th, PICO DAY!!1!) I officially turned 22, and man do I feel old, though being 22 is essentially like being 21, I still feel old. Anyway, there's always one thing that birthdays are good for, gifts! And I got a lot of them, i fact, here's a list,

~My gf actually got me my birthday present nearly a week earlier when she took me to this really cool computer salvage shop, where "broken" computer parts are sold, This place was like a gold mine, My gf bought $300 worth of stuff that the shop keep said was broken, but I'll easily fix it all.
~ My gf's parents sent me a USB-to-PS/2 Adapter for some reason, I guess I'll use it if my laptop keyboard or mouse ever breaks.
~ My parents sent me a 2 GB USB 2.0 Drive, which I really needed for some power point presentations.
~ My cousin gave me a new A, D, and C string for my viola, which I needed because my old A, D, and C strings were fraying and starting to sound crummy.

So tomorrow, me and my gf are facing this guy and his friend who live on the 2nd floor, I havent seen them play much so I don't know how me and my gf stack up to them right now, I'll be sure to update this blog with our scores tomorrow.

My Cousins Behavior So Far

So my cousins been living with me and my gf for almost 4 months (it will be 4 months Monday) and he's been pretty well behaved so far, aside from getting the ISS for, listening to his iPod in class, playing his PSP in class, and getting caught cheating on a math exam (in the same day.)I mean he's gotten 2 or 3 detentions, one for being late to class once, another for cutting class once, and another for kissing his gf and a teacher saw. Not as bad as I thought he would be, but not exactly an angel. I just hope he stays this way until August when he goes back to live with his parents.

My Opponents for Tomorrow

So last week, being Easter and all, me and my gf didnt have a tennis match, but we will be having one tomorrow and Wednesday. Tomorrow we will be facing an older couple (I think theyre in their early-mid 60s) that live on the 16th floor, I'm sure me and my gf will make quick work of them, I'll update this blog tomorrow to post the results.

One Year on Ng

So, last Sunday it was my 1 year anniversary on ng, and I have to say I didnt even notice. It seems like it was only yesterday that I created my account and I've already been here for a year. I just wanna thank everyone who helped me on here when I was a noob and knew nothing, lol. I dont even wanna go back to the farthest page of my BBS post history and see the noobish questions I had, lol.

Fucking Insomnia

So this past week my insomnia has reared its ugly head again. The last time it did I was a senior in high school and didnt sleep for five days, and I'm almost close to breaking that record. I havent had a good nights sleep since Monday night and I havent slept at all since Wednesday morning where I took a 10 minute nap.
I do have medication to help me sleep, but it hasnt helped very much, so now its Saturday and I havent slept at all in 4 days, god I hope to sleep tonight.

My Extremely Long and Boring Week

So last Friday, my gf went to Vermont to visit her dad who had to get a quadruple bypass Tuesday the 24th and she'll be back Monday afternoon. And my cousin has been at his girlfriends house, so I've had the apartment all to myself basically all week and it sucks. I've pretty much just watched tv, played video games, lurked on ng, and visited friends all week (apart from going to the usual college and work.) Man being alone sucks.

Joined My Community Tennis Team

So, this week I signed me and my gf up for the community tennis team my landlord organizes every Spring. We had a practice Wednesday Evening and it appears that almost everyone in my 26 floor apartment complex has joined. Our first match will be next Sunday where me and my gf will be facing this Latino couple on the 6th floor.

Damn March

If theres one month that i loathe, it would have to be March. Why? Because (here in Boston anyway) its freezing fucking cold one day, then warm as piss the next, which really screws with my allergies. Another reason I hate March is because there are no Federal Holidays within it, St. Patricks Day in America is not a Federal Holiday, so, unfortunately jobs and schools don't let out for it. Thank god there are only 10 days left until April.

Met My Gay Friends Boyfriend

So, like I said in my last news post, it turns out that my friend Steve is gay, and earlier this week (Tuesday I believe) I met his boyfriend for the first time. His name is Greg and he too just came out of the closet, though him and Steve have been seeing each other for nearly a year now. He seems like a pretty cool guy, very funny and outgoing, im sure him and Steve are extremely happy together, and i have to say, I couldnt be happier for them.

Got My Car Back

So, in a news post I made last month, I told you guys how me, my gf, and my cousin were in a car accident. Well yesterday (Friday) I finally got my car back, and the thing looks brand freaking new. It looks like it was never in an accident in the first place, if not better than it did before. And I'm happy to finally have this whole ordeal behind me *exhales heavily*.
